Do you love to write about food, travel, lifestyle, or any of the other topics we cover? Contact Play Battle Square welcomes guest contributions from writers, bloggers, and subject-matter enthusiasts who want to share practical knowledge and fresh ideas with our readers.
This page explains exactly what we are looking for, how to prepare your article, and how to submit it. Please read these guidelines carefully before sending us your work — following them gives your submission the best possible chance of being accepted.
Why Write for Us
Writing for Contact Play Battle Square puts your work in front of an engaged, everyday audience. Our readers come here for useful, down-to-earth articles they can actually apply to their lives, and guest authors benefit from that same trust and attention.
As a contributor, you will receive a byline with your name, a short author bio, and one link back to your personal website or blog. Your article will be shared with our audience and will remain published on the site as part of our growing library of helpful content.
Categories We Accept
We accept guest posts in the following categories. Please make sure your topic clearly fits one of them before submitting:
- Food & Recipes — recipes, cooking techniques, kitchen tips, and food culture
- Travel — destination guides, itineraries, travel tips, and packing advice
- Lifestyle — home, organization, relationships, and everyday living
- Health — wellness habits, fitness ideas, and healthy living (general information only)
- Beauty — skincare, makeup, hair care, and product guides
- Business — entrepreneurship, freelancing, careers, and workplace advice
- Technology — gadgets, apps, how-tos, and tech trends explained simply
- Money & Finance — budgeting, saving, and personal finance basics (general information only)
- Education — study tips, learning resources, and skill building
- Pets — pet care, training, nutrition, and adoption guidance
- News — thoughtful commentary on trending topics and current events
- Gaming — game reviews, guides, news, and gaming culture
If your idea does not fit any of these categories, it is probably not right for our site. We do not publish content about gambling, adult material, or anything illegal.
Content Requirements
Every guest post must meet the following requirements. Submissions that do not meet them will be declined without detailed feedback.
- Minimum length: 1,200 words. We want in-depth, genuinely useful articles — not thin overviews. Longer is fine when the extra length adds real value.
- 100% original. Your article must be written by you and must never have been published anywhere else, in whole or in part. We check every submission for plagiarism.
- Human-written quality. We do not accept spun content, mass-produced filler, or low-effort AI-generated spam. If you use AI tools as a writing aid, the final article must still be substantially written, reviewed, and fact-checked by you, and it must read naturally.
- Plain, natural US English. Write the way you would explain the topic to a friend: clear, friendly, and free of jargon. Use short paragraphs, descriptive subheadings, and bullet points where they help readability.
- Actionable and accurate. Give readers something they can use — steps to follow, tips to try, or ideas to explore. Double-check facts, names, dates, and figures before submitting.
Sourcing and Accuracy
We take accuracy seriously. If your article includes statistics, study results, quotes, or specific claims, cite reputable sources and link to them where appropriate. Prefer primary sources — official reports, academic research, and established publications — over secondhand summaries.
For health, finance, and legal topics, be extra careful: present general information only, avoid absolute claims (“this will cure…”, “you are guaranteed to earn…”), and include a brief note encouraging readers to consult a qualified professional. Articles that make risky or misleading claims will be rejected.
Our Link Policy
Links in your article must serve the reader, not search engines. You may include a reasonable number of links to authoritative sources that support your points.
We do not allow paid-link schemes, link exchanges, or links inserted purely for SEO manipulation. Promotional links to commercial products or services are not permitted inside the article body. Your author bio may include one link to your personal website or blog — that is the appropriate place for self-promotion.
If you have an affiliate relationship with anything you mention, you must disclose it clearly. Undisclosed affiliate links will result in immediate rejection.
Formatting Guidelines
- Give your article a clear, compelling title (under 60 characters is ideal).
- Start with a short introduction that tells readers what they will learn.
- Break the body into sections with descriptive subheadings.
- Use bullet or numbered lists for steps, tips, and takeaways.
- End with a brief conclusion that summarizes the key points.
- If you provide images, they must be ones you created or have the rights to use. Include the source or photographer credit where required.
How to Submit
When your article is ready, send it to us in one of two ways:
- Through our Contact page: use the contact form on our Contact page and paste your article (or a Google Docs link) into the message field. Put “Guest Post Submission: [Your Proposed Title]” in the subject line.
- By email: send your submission directly to getseoguestposts@gmail.com with the subject line “Guest Post Submission: [Your Proposed Title]”.
Please include the following with your submission:
- Your full name (or pen name) as you want it to appear.
- A two- or three-sentence author bio written in the third person.
- One link for your bio (your blog or personal website).
- The category your article belongs in.
- Confirmation that the article is original and unpublished.
Our Review Process
We read every submission personally. Here is what happens after you send your article:
- Initial check (1–3 days): we confirm the topic fits our categories and the article meets the basic requirements above.
- Editorial review (up to 2 weeks): we read the full article for quality, accuracy, and originality. We may suggest edits or ask for revisions.
- Decision: if accepted, we will schedule your article for publication and let you know the date. If declined, we will let you know — though we may not be able to give detailed feedback on every submission.
We reserve the right to edit accepted articles for clarity, grammar, formatting, and style. Substantial changes will be shared with you before publication.
What We Do Not Publish
- Content that has been published elsewhere, in whole or in part.
- Spun, scraped, or low-effort AI-generated articles.
- Press releases or undisclosed sponsored content.
- Articles built around paid links or link schemes.
- Content promoting gambling, adult material, or illegal activity.
- Medical, financial, or legal advice presented as professional guidance.
- Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content.
Rights and Ownership
By submitting a guest post, you confirm that you are the author and that the work is original. If your article is accepted and published, you grant Contact Play Battle Square the right to publish, distribute, and promote it on our website and related channels. You retain credit as the author through your byline and bio.
Guest contributions are not paid. The benefit to you is exposure to our readership, a byline, and a link back to your own site.
Thank you for considering writing for us — we look forward to reading your work. If you have questions about these guidelines, reach out through our Contact page or email getseoguestposts@gmail.com.
